The thing is it happens too often and in non-security context. For example I wanted to set Payment pending for 2 tickets and I got nonce fail.
It also happens almost periodically during editing message templates. If I left template opened in one tab, went to another one to see or copy something and came back later (even 10 or more minutes) – after submitting changes there was nonce fail.
Either some timeout is too short or there is serious problem with using multiple tabs in browser.
I tried again the same operation as at the printscreen with long waiting before submitting and nonce did not happen. It seems to be multiple tabs issue.
If it’s not caused by another plugin resetting the session, it may help to edit the wp-config.php file and replace the contents of the Authentication Unique Keys and Salts section.
After those are changed you’ll need to log back into your site.
