Non-profit Golf Event Fundraiser setup

We have a page on our website for the Golf Event. How would we set up EE to have a Sponsor Signup and a separate Golfer Signup? Do I need two events, one that does not need tickets and one that does?
I plan to have the Sponsor Signup and the Golfer Signup on different sub-pages from the Golf Event page. I’m more interested in the best way to set up EE.

How are you today?

This is a matter of preference. In my opinion it comes down to whether you are going to include the sponsor tickets for golfing as part of the number of attendees signed up to golf.

If you are going to include the sponsor’s tickets to golf in the calculations of golfers against the capacity of golfers, then I’d make the sponsor packages include tickets. If you’re not going to have the sponsorship packages include tickets that count against the total number of golfers, then you could do the Sponsorship packages as a separate event.
