I have searched extensively for the answer/workaround to this and don’t see one.
EE4 has a lot of great functionality much of which we do not need.
What we do need is a way for users to cancel a registration.
I see this is possible for EE3 with the nice little cancel registration button at the bottom of the event list displayed via shortcode. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/wp-user-integration/
I do not see this capability in EE4. This is very basic functionality for an event-centric use case. Am I missing something? We are testing the latest version.
We don’t currently have a front end cancellation button with EE4, registration cancellations are currently handle by the admin.
The user would need to contact the event admin and notify them that they want to cancel their registration, the admin can then go to Event Espresso -> Registrations, find the registration and set the status to cancelled (also then issue a refund if applicable).
I realize EE4 was a rewrite but am not used to incremental software versions removing functionality.
Not just a re-write as it’s a completely different system compared to EE3 but I do get what you are saying.
In a nutshell it just takes time.
