Hi, I have set up a single ticket type for a single event (so far), but nothing shows up on the event, allowing visitors to purchase the tickets. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing twice, and have gone over all the details, but cannot figure what is wrong. WordPress Version:

Hi there, Within the event editor do you have the ‘Display Ticket Selector’ option set to no? – http://take.ms/mQHdd If you do, change that to Yes, update the event and retest. |

Hi Tony, Thank you for your quick response. I should have added that! The Display Ticket Selector is definitely set to YES, I have tried changing it to no, saving it and then resetting it back to yes again – but to no avail! Paul |
If you enable WP_DEBUG and reload the event page is there an error shown? |

Hi Tony, first I must advise that I don’t know php. I installed a plugin ‘Dubug This’ and amended the wp-config.php file to include the following:- define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true); – the first line replacing the same one with a ‘false’ value. I then used ‘Debug This’ on the page and get the following report:- [28-Jan-2016 12:06:39 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /xxxxx/xxxxxxxxxx/b1249/myd.swancreations/public_html/sheerans/wp-content/plugins/debug-this/debug-this.php on line 198 I have replaced the first 2 parts of my hosting address with x’s to protect my hosting site. Hi, I have still not been able to get the ticket sales working. Can anybody help me please? Paul |
Does it work if you temporarily switch the WordPress theme to one of the default themes? |
|
|
Hi Josh, Thanks for your prompt reply. Just checked, and yes it does. I have built the site using Gantry 5.2.8 and Hydrogen 5.2.7 theme – obviously EE4 is not compatible? Paul |
Not necessarily incompatible. How it works is EE tries to add the event content by means of the WordPress the_content filters. If the theme (or another plugin) strips out actions away from the_content filters, then no Event Espresso event content gets displayed. So in those rare cases, you can build some custom templates to display the content, or find in the theme where it removes the_content filters and remove that code, or switch to another theme. |

Josh, Thank you for your help, I understand the problem now. I’m not a developer. If I purchase a support ticket, would I be able to get help to either build custom templates, or sort the filter out? Paul |
Yeah that’s usually something we can do. We’ll need either a copy of the theme or FTP access to your site in order to download the theme in order to work on it. |
