Hi, Can you check that the key does not have any spaces before or after it please. |
|
Hi Dean, yeah i did that previously already. I just checked again. I also deleted it, saved, refreshed and re entered it but no go.

Thats strange as the key isnt active in our system (as in it hasnt got a website associated with it). Is there anything that could be blocking the communication between your site and ours, as your site needs to ping us with some basic data. |
|
My site is being generated by square space other than that I can’t think of anything. The move we made was from photoelan.com/blog to – blog.photoelan.com Would that make a difference? Brian

Hi Brian, Did you move servers? It may be a case where the new host doesn’t allow the communication between our site and your site. |

We didn’t change servers. We really need to get this resolved as we are now having problems. One that has crept up” When I try to save a pending registration as “Completed”, it just goes back to pending.
This is causing lots of problems right now, any help would greatly be appreciated. I already contacted Mediatemple.net, our host, twice to try and resolve this and they indicated that nothing is unusual with their servers and it should be working fine. |

Hi Brian, Can you double check the licence key in your General Settings is correct and that it does not have a space before or after it please? Also regarding “When I try to save a pending registration as “Completed”, it just goes back to pending.” this is most likely not an issue as such. We amended the way the status are shown, so for example you now cannot set a user to pending if their paid amount equals the amount owed. You would need to change the figures to change their status now. |

Hi Dean, Thanks for the info, augmenting the registration to completed status worked.
As for spaces before or after the reg key, that has already been attempted three or four times now with no change. As I mentioned I already contacted Mediatemple.net, our host, twice to try and resolve this and they indicated that nothing is unusual with their servers and it should be working fine.
Is there a temporary workaround until I have our blog at its permanent location on blue host at the end of this week.

If you’re going to be moving servers, then it would be best to not set the license key right now. The Event Espresso plugin will function without the license key set. If you need to update, you can download the new version from you account page and manually update Event Espresso from the WP plugin manager screen. |
|
Brian, will you try to update again? Our website had a few issues last night which might have caused the updates to fail. Let us know if you have issues again. |
|
Hi Brian, You could try that, then try again later. I just checked and ran an update on one of my sites, so it may have been down when you tried. |
