On the status page, I was getting an error that the session save path did not exist. I was able to get through to GoDaddy and get it established. The status page now shows the /tmp files as available and writable
But I am still getting the following error on the view cart page
“It looks like you are attempting to refresh a page after completing your registration or your cart is empty”
On a second request, I also have not been able to figure out how to display the price option instead or in addition to the event name on the confirmation_display.php page. Prior to our last upgrade it was showing the price option (which also includes the actual date of our events) but it is not any longer.
I think both of the issues you are seeing have to do with the old template files in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates.
In the case of the view cart page not working, this can be fixed by re-naming shopping-cart.php in the /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory to something like shopping-cartOLD.php. If you had made any customizations to shopping-cart.php they can be merged into the newer version’s shopping-cart.php template. It would be the same case with the other customized templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates.
