We created an event and entered everything correctly, but when we view event there is no option to register and purchase ticket.

Hi there,
Looking over your events on the site linked to your license I do see the ticket selector giving the option to register when viewing the default single event output.
Is there a specific page you don’t see the option on?

I was able to add it by copying the embed code and putting it into the text box. I just thought is was supposed to show up automatically.

It should show up automatically.
I can see you’re using Divi with a child theme, do you have a custom template for Event Espresso in your child theme? It would be usually be something like single-espresso_events.php
