No payment options

Hi Tony,
Sorry to bother you so often. This should only be during the shaping of our website.
We would like to have the payment options unavailable! So no ‘Proceed to payment options’. Thank you very much and have a nice day!

Not a problem, it is why we are here and no bother.

We would like to have the payment options unavailable! So no ‘Proceed to payment options’.

Currently, we don’t have an option to disable payment methods within Event Espresso.

If you want to disable registrations on your current events you can set the ‘Display Ticket Selector’ to No on each of those events. That will still allow users to view the event details but not register onto those events.

Is that what you are looking for?

Hi Tony,
No, the system we work with requires that candidates register themselves but payment goes via other channels. Offering payment-option makes things more difficult for us. Paying back, VAT issues etc

Ok, so within Event Espresso you will still need the user to select a payment method, but you could use an ‘offline’ payment method the ‘Bank’ payment method and rebrand it to something else.

Offline payment methods within Event Espresso don’t take an actual payment from the user, they simply allow for a way for them to select how they will pay so Bank, Cheque etc. You can set the image to be whatever you prefer and change the description of the payment to suite.

Which is basically its own offline payment method you can use for whichever method you like if you prefer not to rebrand the default payment method(s).
