Hello,
I’m unable to activate the invoice or payment gateways.

Within payment settings, the gateways do list out, but they are inoperable. ONLY the gateway list is view-able. No other option, nor button to activate anything else is view-able. Thus rendering the payment settings page completely useless.

The image in the payment settings documentation, does not match what I see for my own installation. There is no option to activate anything.

Also, within general settings, the image upload feature is useless as well. When clicked, nothing happens…

I’ve installed the EE Requirements Plugins, and have checked out fine.

I’ve re-installed several times, and have even tried uploading thru FTP to see if that made a difference. (nothing)

Any advice?

Thank you

Sounds like a javascript problem. Can you use the javascript console to looks for an error? If not, try disabling javascript in the browser and loading the payment settings page.

Okay, just disabled javascript. Deleted and uploaded the Event Expresso plugin. Cleared the browser cache and restarted the computer. Still having the same problem. In fact, I can not upload my company logo. This is only happening in this plugin not my other plugins. The following warning shows on the Payment Settings page:

Warning: file_get_contents(/home/chuckand/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/atos/default/pathfile) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/chuckand/public_html/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso/gateways/atos/settings.php on line 75.

Any other suggestions? If I can’t use the plugin, I would like a refund. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

Hi Jo-Ann,

I took a look at the site and the problem lies with your theme. It is loading some jQuery in the admin area which is normally fine BUT the code it is using is broken, which cascades down and stops all other jQuery from working.

It should be fairly easy to fix, though I would report this to the theme developer to obtain a permanent fix.

I can resolve this via the Priority Support Ticket you purchased, but will need FTP details to get a copy of the theme.

I’ll respond via email so you can send that over.

Good morning Dean,

I just emailed you the FTP access information you requested. Thanks!

Hi Jo-Ann,

We were able to get things working by making a few small edits to the theme’s JavaScript files:

/output/core/page-builder/js/pb.js

/output/core/admin/js/admin.js

If you’re curious about the issue and how it was fixed, there is a good explanation in this blogpost from Digging into WordPress:

http://digwp.com/2011/09/using-instead-of-jquery-in-wordpress/

I emailed copies of the files that were modified to you so you can keep them as backups. If you update to a newer version of the theme, you’ll likely need to re-apply the fixes contained in them.
