No Name or Contact details on Failed Registration

When I view the Registrations on screen there are some on a regular basis that have NO Name or Contact Info with the Failed txn. How can I see this info so I can contact them to see what the problem is?

Hi there,

Failed registrations? Do you mean Incomplete registrations with a Transaction status of Failed? See here – https://monosnap.com/file/TCn3XTaC0a1hTsOnTy7g2bYMuKaXSE

Incomplete registrations are that way because they have no contact info.

EE creates registration really early and updates them as you step through the registration process. So as an example if you take a note of the number of Incomplete registrations in one tab, then in another tab open a ticket selector and select 5 tickets.

Refresh the incomplete registration list and you’ll see you have 5 new incomplete registrations.

Switch back to the tab with the registrations, add your personal info details and submit.

Now refresh the other tab again, you’ll find those 5 incomplete registrations are no longer shown as incomplete, they are Pending Payment with a transaction status of abandoned. Those registrations will continue to update their status and the transaction status based on the actions of the user.

So to answer your question you can’t contact the users that created those registrations, because no contact info was given for EE to store. Do you have reCaptcha enabled within Event Espresso? The incomplete registrations may have been bot submissions or possible just users selected the ticket and then stopped.
