Hi there,
I have been having problems with the google maps on the events. The map just shows a gray square and in the console it says Google Map geocode was not successful for the following reason: ZERO_RESULTS.
The API Key is valid, currently not restricted, I tested it on several browsers and nothing has changed on the site since it worked 2 weeks ago.

PS: The address is valid and GoogleMaps finds the address, if I enter the address in the google maps website.

Hi there,
Which google maps website?
ZERO_RESULTS means there were no ‘errors’ but the address returned no results from the API request.
The google maps API which is what is used to display the mini map actually uses different data than Google maps. To see this in action enter your address here:

Do you get zero_results from the second link?

Hi Tony,
Thanks a lot for your reply. I tested the second link you posted and I get a result. So the address is correct. Somehow EE doesn’t appear to pass along the information correctly to Google. I also tried to remove the state, as posted in an other forum post, but that doesn’t solve the issue either. Thanks a lot for your help.

Just updating this thread with the findings so far for any future readers.
I input the address in use for the venue mentioned onto the Google geoencoding page linked above which returns zero_results which basically means google maps couldn’t find the address so as this is returned from the api the map shows no results.
The user is looking into adding additional details so that the google maps api finds the venue.
