Hello. We’re using Showthemes Tyler theme v1.6.2 on a dev site and I have an EE bug to report. I can replicate it on their live demo so you can see it as well: http://www.showthemes.com/tyler-demo/ If you click “Register Now” without choosing a quantity for the Events Espresso event manager, it reloads the page without giving an error message. However, when you choose a quantity and click “Register Now” you see an error on the registration page even though you have added a ticket to your cart. I get the error to select a ticket quantity even though I have a ticket in my cart. It seems to me this is the missing error message from adding a ticket without choosing a quantity. It would be nice to display this error before going to the registration page. I have contacted Showthemes support and they believe this is an EE issue. However, they are willing to work on this issue if it is an error in their theme. Please advise. Thank you. cw |
Hi Carl, The demo page you linked to is kind of confusing because there are three ticket selectors (one from eventbrite, woocommerce, and Event Espresso 4). If you’re using Woocommerce (like the demo) to add tickets to a cart, it would make sense that Event Espresso 4 doesn’t show an error message. This is because the add to cart section you see on the demo is handled by WooCommerce, not Event Espresso. Are you using other plugins to add tickets or only Event Espresso 4? |

We’re only using EE. I thought I had typed to click Register Now for the EE section of their live demo but I may have only thought. My apologies! In their live demo they use 3 different managers. Click Register Now on the one for EE without selecting a quantity. That will refresh the page. Then go back to the EE section and add a quantity and click Register Now. It will take you to the registration page and you will see the missing error from the previous attempt. Again, I apologize for the confusion but I hope this makes it a little more clear. cw |
Hi Carl, I’m seeing a single ticket selector on the live demo. Could you email a link to your own home page so we can take a look? support [at] eventespresso.com Be sure to also include a link to this support post. — |

Thank you, Lorenzo. I have relayed your input to the theme developer and they are going to address the issue by the end of the week. I will update this thread once the issue is resolved. cw |
