No confirmation emails after WordPress and EE update

Hi,

I updated WordPress to the latest 4.7.2 and EE 4.9.29.p
Now when customers order a ticket, they do not receive the confirmation emails any longer with the ticket. If I resend them manually, they receive tickets.
How to solve?

It may help to go to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request.
