Hi there, My time format in general setting is as follow: g:i a The a should show the AM and PM. Yet on the front-end, event time is showing up this way: 5:45 – 7:30 How can I display the AM and PM ? Thanks. |
Hi Elnino, Which page are you referring to? Are you using the latest version of EE4? Currently 4.6.28.p |
|
|
Yes latest version, 4.6.28. Home page (grid shortcode) or event page, same prob. |
Hi Elnino, I’ve tested this and I’m seeing something different: Time format settings for WP – http://cl.ly/image/0W002y2X2F0C –> Single event page – http://cl.ly/image/2Y3E0u0N1J1P Does the issue continue when only Event Espresso is running (activated)? If not, then one of your other plugins may be interfering here. Try restoring a few plugins at a time by reactivating them and re-testing. This should help pinpoint the source of the conflict. — |

|
Unfortenately disabling all the plugin doesn’t make a difference. |
Hello again, that makes sense since Event Espresso uses the settings in the general settings area of Event Espresso. Could you add this information to the name of the datetime to clarify? The name of the datetimes can be edited through the event editor in the WP dashboard. — |

Sorry if I understand your comment I must add “am” or “pm” at the end of the date time? If that’s what you are asking I can’t do that as this field automatically gets filled with the date picker and is being corrected. I cannot send an attachment do I? |
Hi, the issue is that the front-end uses the time settings for the site. Since, the site is in French, then am & pm are being removed. Could you add the times with the am or pm in the event editor? http://cl.ly/image/013Z2l0U1c28 — |

No I can’t add the am or pm in the title of the ticket. This is reserved for … the name of the ticket! I’ll figure something out. |
Hi, Please take another look at the screenshot. That is from the datetimes area which is different from the name of the ticket. — |

|
Hi, Yeah no, the date time area is being corrected automatically so it removes the am and pm. Anyway, I’ve switched the time format to 24h for clarification and client is happy so we’ll go this way. |

Hi, Anything else we can assist with regarding this topic or may we mark it as resolved? |
|
Sure set it as resolved. It’s more a language/Wordpress issue than a EE issue. |
