The client wants to be able to send event reminders to registrants, which as I understand, is only possible by sending batch “Newsletters”. I’ve set myself up as a test registrant to test this feature, but I never receive an email after I press send. Not really sure where to start here, so figured I’d ask and see if anyone could extend some help or advice? Thanks!
It’s not in junk mail, either. In fact, it looks like all event espresso emails are not going through at the moment (registration emails, etc.)… I’m not really sure where to begin to fix this, but I’m guessing it’s probably got something to do with the hosting? We weren’t having email issues until we made the site live.
Yes. WordPress uses the wp_mail() function to send out emails from your server. Sometimes there can be a conflict. This is where we recommend a service like Mandrill (https://mandrillapp.com) and the WP Mandrill plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpmandrill/
That should fix the issues with emails not being sent out/received.
I am happy to answer anymore questions you might have.

It will record a copy of all the emails that your server tries to send regardless if they are actually sent by your server. Once you can confirm that website code is trying to send these messages, then you can discuss this further with your host.
Does that help?
