Is there a newer instructions for Promotion that this: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-promotions-add-on/
There are some elements that are not in the instructions. For example: “Total Number of Uses.” Will this one let me create a promo code across all events that can only be used once (vs. once per event, as it was before)? Thanks!

Yes, that doc needs to be updated, I’ll get that on our to-do list as it was obviously missed when the Promotions add-on was updated 🙂
Yes, the ‘Total Number of Uses’ field works in the way you mentioned.
The ‘Number of Uses Per Scope Item’ field applies per ‘scope item’, which if it’s 1, would be once per event.
The ‘Total Number of Uses’ is the ‘global/total’ number of uses, a value of 1 is just once across whatever scope items it applies to.
