Hi Event Espresso Team,

I have purchased the premium edition as I think it would be a great edition to my website and business operations. Yet, it’s been two days and countless hours and I can’t even get the plugin to install correctly.

I installed all the files as described. When I activate the main event espresso plugin – 80% of my website (background, frames, buttons etc.) all turns white. Some images and text links remain but the rest of the site turns white. I am using a theme purchased through themeforest.

My address is: http://www.thekidworkshop.com

Is my wordpress theme is not compatible? I was thinking about purchasing a support token but didn’t want to spend more money on something that might not be compatible. Please help I am totally lost, clueless and frustrated.

Are you on VPS or shared hosting? It sounds like you are running out or memory (RAM) on the server.

Or possibly what may be happening is a conflict with another plugin or possibly the theme as you said. I would first try switching to the default 2011 theme. If that is working, then you will know it is your theme. If it is not working after that, it may be a plugin conflict and you can try deactivating all your plugins and turning them on one by one and see which one breaks it.

Hi Seth,

Thanks for the quick response. I am on bluehost. I believe it is just shared hosting. I know I didn’t buy anything special when signing up with bluehost. I know my php script RAM limit is set at 128M. WordPress dashboard didn’t indicate any RAM errors.

I tried turning off all plugins except event espresso. Still all white screen.

Page seems to be normal when using the 2011 wordpress theme.

I can’t change my theme. Are there any other suggestions? I would be disappointed if I couldn’t set this up also disappointed that I bought the full business version for $180 and it is incompatible. Thanks for your time.

Rudy

I would advise running the theme check plugin to see if there are some things in the theme that needs to be fixed: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/theme-check/

I might be something very simple. Other things to check: Check the pages that are not working using a tool like firebug and look for JavaScript errors.
