Hi,
I had created a custom Email template [New Registrant Confirmation] from [Payment Received] Template inorder to send mail whenever new user signed up.
When tried to send test mail, it says message sent but not getting received.
Any suggestions welcome.
Although you can create custom message template, that will not change the message ‘triggers’ that the message is used for.
For example a custom Payment Received message can not be used for a ‘new registration confirmation’ email, it can be used as custom content for the payment received email trigger. (When a payment is received it fires that message type)
So do you want a custom message for when a registration has been confirmed (In EE this is ‘Approved’) on the event, after a payment has been made in full?
I need a mail to be triggered when a new user registers for an event after checkout.
It’s only Invoice as payment method and client will contact user. (No payment handling inside).
Client (Event Admin) would like to receive a mail of the registrant details signed without signing in to dashboard, and also registrant receives a mail stating he is registered.
Payment Received format had most details in template and now understand that it will not trigger as needed.
Any other solutions?
Thanks.
If your tickets are paid tickets and you are only using Invoice then by default the registration will be set to Pending Payment, at that point the ‘Registration Pending Payment’ message type is triggered, so you could create a custom message from that.
However it all depends on how you want the registrations to work.
Do you want the registrations to apply to the events ‘sold’ values before payment has been made or only when payment has been received?
It’s only Invoice as payment method and client will contact user. (No payment handling inside).
So the admin will not be manually applying the payment made within EE?
