Have a fresh version of WP 3.8.2 installed, no plugins, and just loaded EE with all plugins supplied Custom Templates Add-on v1.0JSON API v2.1.1.PEvent Espresso v3.1.36.5.PSocial Media v1.1.7Events Calendar v2.2.3.p

I cannot get the registration page, or captcha page to show in any event, everything shows a 404 error. I’ve changed the permalinks to ‘post name’ as directed in the api plugin page, still 404 errors on all registration attempts.

Why is this happening?

Hi Cheryi,

Could you please go to WP-admin –> Settings –> Permalinks and re-save?

Then please share a link to an event so I can take a closer look.

Thanks

Lorenzo

Resaved permanlink settings to ‘Post name’. Here’s the link http://uncorkyourart.com/event-calendar-1-test/

Hi Cheri,

Can you make sure that the following page is published and has the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode on it:

http://uncorkyourart.com/event-registration/

Put in all of them at the bottom, [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] isn’t processing? Added a new on ‘New event 3’ and ‘New event 3 page’

Can you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Scroll down to Page Settings and Click save settings.

Then check the event-registration page and see if it loads.

If you go to Dashboard -> Pages. Can you see the ‘Event Registration’ page there?

Done, and I don’t see the short code processing on any pages.

[ESPRESSO_EVENTS] is the main shortcode required by Event Espresso, by default it will only parse on one page, the event-registration page.

If you go to Dashboard -> Pages. Can you see the ‘Event Registration’ page there?

No, still shows as [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. If you can go private on this chat I will give you login information and probably save us a bunch of time.

Hi Cheri,

Could you please create a temporary WordPress admin login so I can take a closer look at this issue?

Please share that temporary login through the secure link below:

https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

To prevent delays in troubleshooting, be sure to double check your information on the form before submitting.

The submit button for the form appears after you have answered “Yes” to the last question.

Thank you.

Lorenzo
