hi there,
having recovered from a recent hack, we noticed that any new events we’ve added to event espresso since the restore are not being displayed in the upcoming events widget. they are showing up in our event list though.
any ideas? i’ve deleted the old widget and recreated it, but the same thing happens.

Hi Emily,
This could be a caching issue because Widgets generally don’t update if they’re being served from a cache. Are there any caching plugins active on the site?

nope, no cacheing system and it’s been a couple weeks now since the hack was repaired. thanks.

Hello,
We are working on this issue. In testing, I found that turning the recurring events option to Yes on the widget allowed them to show.
We’ll update your support post once we have verified the fix.
