New Events not being displayed

just updated to EE4, and created a new event, and I can’t pre-view, view, it displays a page with
Not Found
Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help.

The url address look correct, but nothing is showing up.

Hello,

Please login to your WordPress admin and go to Settings –> Permalinks.

This should flush the permalinks and fix this issue.

Not sure if this is related, but sometimes when i go to publish an event, the following URL is displayed, but black content.

http://……/post.php

I updated the permalinks, no change.
Looks like I can’t create Datetimes.

I create the event datetimes, create ticket, then create. Publish looks like the publish is not completing.

Hello,

Please temporarily deactivate other plugins (to rule out a conflict).

If it still fails, then please try a reinstall of the software by removing the current version and installing a fresh copy through WordPress Plugins.

I was able to take an old event that transferred across and modify the description content ok and it displayed. After I create the datetimes, it will not update. Its like the database structure may not have been updated during the install, and can’t update the necessary fields for the added features.

Also, do you remember what version you updated from — EE3 or an older version of EE4?

Hi lorenzo,

I decided that the best course of action was to go back to the previous version and try to get everything working again. I’ll try out the migration another time.
