I created a new event (I duplicated an old event changed the dates etc). I always test it by signing up myself and the event was active on our website and the dates are correct.
However, when I try to find the event in the event overview, it’s not listed. I looked through all the “filter status” to make sure it hadn’t end up in one of them, but I can’t find it.
The event is still active on the website and open for registration.
Quite likely this is the result of an invalid date format input into the event dates field. Here’s how to fix:
Log in to the site with your WP administrator account.
Go to the event on the front end of the website and click the Edit Event link that appears just after the registration form.
Then you’ll check to see that the dates are set in this format:
YYYY-MM-DD
e.g. if the event is today’s date it would be:
2019-02-14
You get to the event from the front end of the website. You did mention that “The event is still active on the website and open for registration.” Is that not actually the case?
Yes, I found it. I tried to find it via Event Espresso and didn’t really understand what you meant with front end. Thank you.
It turned out I had the end date of the event set on 2018 and not 2019. Thanks for your help!
