I have a customer who is looking at purchasing an addon for their site, and I am hoping this is the right product.

Hoping you can answer a few questions. Customer is an art school. They have multiple classes at various times during the day both for adults and children.

The customer is requesting that they have a calendar on the site with a list of all the classes, a brief description and price. Their customer should able to go to the site, select the class they wish to attend, fill out a then “custom” enrolment form with info about how you found out about them, age of student etc, pay for the class and then automatically send the owner a message saying that this student has registered for x class, and an email to the student acknowledging all the details.

the customer would like to then be able to logon view who is attending the class and when, and use this for planning purposes.

So the question is, can this software do this? what version of Event Espresso do they need and any addons you recommend?

Thanks for your help.

The customer is requesting that they have a calendar on the site with a list of all the classes, a brief description and price. The options above are possible in Event Espresso 3 and Event Espresso 4. The software asks for basic information such as a name and email and you can create additional questions to collect information.

A notification is sent to the event admin (event author) and the registrant/attendee after a registration is completed. The event admin can then login to the WordPress dashboard to view a list of attendees for a particular event.

If you need to be able to register for multiple classes at once, then I recommend Event Espresso 3 with the Multiple Event Registration addon.

If you do not need this feature, then go with Event Espresso 4.

Great thanks for this. Yes they need to be able to register for multiple classes. Say for example the customer wants to do the same class every week and pre pay for it? Or automatically bill them every week will this allow them to do this?

Also what do you advice the plan / addons that this customer would need to go on?

Hi,

An attendee can’t be automatically re-billed as the payment is collected at the time of the registration.

Using the multiple event registration addon, an attendee could register for several events and then pay any fees associated with those events.

The EE3 Business support license includes the following addons including the multiple event registration addon:

Its a better value to purchase the EE3 business support license than buy the EE3 personal license and then buy the MER addon separately.
