Hi there, I noticed in your changelog you have this:

January 26, 2017
Event Espresso 4.9.27.p
Bug fixes:

Fix CSS for registration form labels for small screens

I’m curious if there is a way to see the new CSS vs. the old CSS?

Our form checkbox is not showing the ‘check’ we designed for it anymore, and for the life of me I can’t figure out what it is. But I did notice a new ID name in the single_page_checkout.css file that hadn’t been named in our theme’s style.css. So I’m guessing that might be a place where I could start investigating.

For instance I found this: #ee-single-page-checkout-dv input[type=checkbox]

(just as an example)

But it would be so helpful to know what the new IDs or Class names are?

If you get to this page on our site you’ll see what i mean: http://bcpta.staging.wpengine.com/registration-checkout/

bcpta
staging

You can see that clicking on “I agree” does not show the ‘check’ – and the cursor pointer is ‘off’ the checkbox area.

I know CSS is not your problem. I’m just trying to give you some background explanation so you know why I’m asking.

Thanks a bunch

sorry the example I gave of the id is in our old site too. I’m still trying to find out what changed though so any thoughts or direction would be great.

Hi there,

I’m curious if there is a way to see the new CSS vs. the old CSS?

For that specific change? You can view it here:

https://github.com/eventespresso/event-espresso-core/commit/d9c5e7f449f9b30e3e14c03dc0fff59c808f7df8

That’s not what is causing the problem on your site.

The issue is the ee-reg-qstn class is missing from the EE reg questions and your current CSS targets that class. I’m not sure why that class is missing, it looks like a bug that will need to be fixed within core but I have created a ticket for our developers to investigate and will add any feedback given on that ticket here.

It would be soooo super helpful if we could find out if this is a bug. I’m to scared to update the plugin on our live site because I’d have to spend a long time figuring out how to fix this, and I’ve already been boggled by it on our staging site. I’ve identified it is in EE4 core, as it’s the last plugin to be updated on our live site, and no other plugin caused this issue.

Thanks a bunch.

I checked the ticket and it is due to a change in EE4 core.

The developers have fixed this and pushed the code for review, once it has been reviewed it will be sent for testing and then included within EE.

That’s wonderful to hear. If you can let us know when we can click to update that would help. We’re just waiting on this.

The CSS fixes will be included with the Event Espresso 4.9.46.p release.

Any idea of timeline? Just want to know when to watch out for it, since I’m not logged into the site all the time.

Possibly the beginning of next week or the week after, we have a couple of tickets we would like to include in next version so it depends if any issues come up with those tickets.
