I would like to stop the “New attendee registration approval pending” email, which is automatically generated together with an “Event registration pending” email for events in which I need to approve the attendees (the “Enable attendee pre-approval feature” is of course turned on). The reason is, the second email (“Event registration pending”) already contains the message that registration needs to be approved, so one message is enough. How to stop the “New attendee registration approval pending” email?
It turns out that the admin is not sent the “Event registration pending” email. Those are sent to the person who registered. The exception would be in a case where the emails are sent out by your email account, but in that case they wouldn’t end up in your inbox, they would be in the sent mail folder.
My point is that I do not want the persons registered to receive the “New attendee registration approval pending” email (because they already receive simultaneously the “Event registration pending” email).
(As you say, the admin does not receive it, but I want to make sure that the person s registered do not receive it and thus I need to stop it).
Event Espresso doesn’t send out the “New attendee registration approval pending” email to persons that register. It only sends that one to the admin or the alternate admin.
