Hi But now when client receive a mail it says Event End Date after 2 year which is confusing client. So my concern is that Apart form below solution do we have any other solution to achieve this. Kindly looking for you reply. Tony Support Staff January 12, 2018 at 7:25 am Hi there, EE doesn’t currently support dateless/ongiong events as you are requesting. What you can do is set the dates far into the future and then use CSS to hide the event date on the page. You’ll likely need to create a custom message template and make sure no dates are output on that template, then assign that template to the event so the emails don’t show the date of the event either. Would that work for you? |

Hi there, EE doesn’t currently support ‘open ended’ events with no dates, so all events need a date, however… It sounds like you have only done half of the solution I posted as you are still receiving the default email which will display the event end date. Did you create a custom message template with no event date output and assign it to the event? |

Hi Tony, Ohh yes you are right i miss this part to create a custom message template… Thanks Buddy, thanks for your valuable reply. |

Hi Tony One more thing can you please tell me which message template is this ( http://prntscr.com/itodo0 ) Thanks |

That’s the ‘Registration Approved’ message type and is the ‘Registrant’ context, for more info on contexts see: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/messages-system-working-with-message-contexts/
I’m not sure I follow this as it sounds like the same question above, but I’ll provide details on how you create the custom template just incase thats what you mean. Go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {the event} (You should now be editing the event that has the date set far in the future) At the bottom of the editor is a ‘Notifications’ section, like this – http://take.ms/baE3G Click on the ‘Create New custom’ button for the Registration Approved message. A popup will show asking for a name, be sure to give it a name you will recognise – http://take.ms/VUTOs EE will create a new template and set it on that event for you – http://take.ms/StGMK Now edit the template using the above button and switch to the ‘Registrant’ context (see the link above). In the ‘TICKET_LIST’ section remove this code and save the template – http://take.ms/qrTf0 Now test a registration and confirm no dates are shown in the email sent to the registrant. |

In fact, from the content here – https://prnt.sc/itqyht You’re likely editing the Event Admin context, please see my above on how to work with message contexts: https://eventespresso.com/topic/never-ending-event/#post-265380 |
