Do you offer a service to setup the PayPal Payments Pro Payment system.
I have enabled PayPal Payments Pro and tried with both a sandbox account and a live account. I have copied and pasted the API credentials several times and it simply will not work. I just keep getting errors back.
Also, even when the payment fails the event registration is still created. We only want the registration to be created after they have actually paid. This is for both Paypal IPN and Payments Pro. Is this possible to do?

Hi Kathryn,
We can certainly try helping you via the forums. What errors are showing up?
Also, a registration is always created regardless of payment status. This is to enable admins to know if there is a payment issue or other roadblock stopping people from purchasing.

Hello,
I’m getting the following error.
Attention: Your transaction was declined for the following reason(s):
Error Code: 10501
Short Message: Invalid Configuration
Short Message: This transaction cannot be processed due to an invalid merchant configuration.
Severity Code: Error
My Paypal account is a business account and is verified. I have tried copying and pasting the api credentials into the Event Espresso “PayPal Payments Pro Settings” several times.

Hi Kathyrn,
Could you please get in touch with PayPal support regarding your account?
10501 occurs when the billing agreement is disabled or inactive
Once PayPal support has fixed the issue above, then follow these steps:
1) Disable sandbox/test mode and remove those credentials (if they are currently in place)
2) Login to your PayPal account and regenerate your API credentials.
3) Copy and paste these into Event Espresso payment settings. Be careful of extra spacing before and after the information when it is pasted into your PayPal Pro settings for Event Espresso.
