I o not have an add-ons section under the Event Espresso menu in my WP dashboard. I purchased the add-on. Please help with next steps in getting this installed. Thanks!

Hi there,
Here are the next steps to getting the promotions add-on installed:
1) You go to your account page.
2) You scroll down to where it says “Downloads” and click the EE4 tab.
3) You click the Event Espresso 4 Promotions and Discount Codes download icon.
4) You save the zip file to your computer
5) You go to your WordPress plugins page on your website and click Add new
6) You select upload file and upload the file you just downloaded
7) You follow the prompt to activate the plugin.

Thanks! Ok so now I have done this and see the Promotions under the EE Add-Ons tab!
BUT when I tested my registration page, it is not working.

I chose a ticket and clicked Register Now. The only thing that comes up is the
[Espresso_Checkout] shortcode.
What do I do next?

It looks like your original registration-checkout page was moved to the trash folder. You could try restoring the page from the trash, or create a new checkout page (for the sake of simplicity, you can name it to be something like “Checkout”). Then you put the [ESPRESSO_CHECKOUT] shortcode on the new page. Then you go to Event Espresso > General Settings > Critical pages and set the new page to be the checkout page.

One more question before Friday sets in: can you tell me what went wrong on this page? Before we went to the redesigned version of our site, this page displayed a form for registration.

That looks like maybe you used a contact form on that page, and it’s no longer pointing to a valid contact form? You might check with your web developer on this.
