Hello everyone!
Can someone please explain the [ANSWER_*] shortcode. I can not get it to work. My question is “Club Affiliations” and it has an admin label of “club_affiliations” I tried [ANSWER_*Club Affiliations] and [ANSWER_*club_affiliations] as shortcodes, but nothing shows up. The answer will show up in the [RECIPIENT_QUESTION_LIST] shortcode. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
The proper format for the dynamic answer shortcode is using the exact question display text. So if the question display text was “Do you like kiwis?” then the shortcode would be [ANSWER_*Do you like kiwis?]
Notice by exact, we mean spaces, special chars, etc.
It sounds like you are formatting it correctly.
Where area of the message editor are you entering the shortcode? It should work in the Attendee List area.
Also, what is the message type (e.g. Registration approved for Event admin) that you are editing?
The reason I ask is because there are multiple recipients so you’ll want to ensure you are editing the correct one: Event Admin and Registrant.

Thank you so much for your help!
I was able to get everything working. The problem was that I placed the shortcode in the Main Content area instead of the Attendee List area. I did not realize that some shortcodes only worked in certain areas.
