Hi Support,
Is that plugin support give as a gift functionality?
I want to give option to user to share event or give an event as gift to other person so does this plugin support this functionality.
If yes could you please give solution for the same.

Hi there,
We don’t currently have any gift functionality in EE.
What you can do is use the Promotions add-on and create a 100% discount (or any percentage if preferred) and assign that code to a single event, then provide the promotion code to be used on the event to the user.
Would that work for you?

Hi Support,
Thanks for response.
I have used Promotions functionality, but in my case I want to give/assign gift for a particular user.
Like Woocommerce, It gives us option to add another member email address and send him mail to register on site and use that product/package.
Or
Is EE gives an option to purchase one event as gift card and by using that gift card we can get discount in another event.
eg. If I want to give you any package discount on my site then I will buy one event and from that event I will get a coupon code for $50 and this coupon code I will share with you and when you try to buy any event on site that time you can use that code and get $50 discount on site.

We don’t currently have a method to automate this with EE, you can use promotions, but we don’t have a way to automatically generate a coupon code and send it to a user when purchasing a ticket on an event.
It could be done with some custom development but you’ll need the help of a developer familiar with PHP and Event Espresso, if you do not have a PHP developer on your team I can recommend contacting codeable.io as they work with some excellent developers who’ll be able to make this happen.
