Hi
I have a client to whom I am pitching EventEspresso. They are a professional association which requires:
a) In order to attend their event, you must be a member, and have purchased membership on their site.
b) They want to offer events, such as:
– live events – in person seminars and conferences
– webinars – pre-recorded
– webinars- live
Can you tell me how eventespresso will help support the above requirements? I was scouring the Customer Showcase, hoping to find an example of an EE client which hosts and sells tickets to webinars – ideally a memberhip based association. The webinars will run on GoToMeeting.
Do you have any examples of webinars being sold and integrated within EE? I would love to show my client.

Hey there,
Sorry, but I don’t have any examples of customer sites that sell webinar registrations. However, I can address your questions.
a) In order to attend their event, you must be a member, and have purchased membership on their site.
This is possible with the WP User Integration add-on. You can created events that are members only events.
b) They want to offer events, such as:
– live events – in person seminars and conferences
– webinars – pre-recorded
– webinars- live
I’m not sure how you would set up pre-recorded webinars. Event Espresso requires dates and times in order to function correctly. You would likely need to set up an event that had a large date range for that, so it would stay open.

Hi,
Sorry, but we do not have any examples of clients using Event Espresso for live webinars.
The only example clients sites we have are listed in the showcase.
