Hello,

https://snipboard.io/7rhDeC.jpg

I first experienced this issue on our dev site. Thinking it might be due to some new code added, I did a test transaction on our live site and the same issue occurred.

What is happening is when I go to the checkout while logged in. I am logged in as Anna Jardine anna@nrtraininggroup.com… the name of Attendee1 of that transaction becomes the new name in my logged in account, even if it’s a different email in the transaction. I used eventespressotest@ee.com for Attendee 1…

And ideas on what is going on here?

Thank you.

I see now it did not create a separate user account for attendee 1 either for eventespressotest@ee.com. For some reason, it linked attendee 1 to the logged in account.

Another observation, this only occurs once I hit the ‘finalize payment’ button in the checkout. As soon as this button is pushed, my name in my logged in account is changed to whatever I put in Attendee 1.

Hi there,

The WP User Integration add-on was designed to be used to track your own registrations made when logged in, it sounds like you are using it for a logged-in user to create registrations for others.

Before digging into the points you’ve raised, how are you expecting your registrations to work currently?

Oh! Interesting. I see the WP User Integration plugin now and I was unaware of this extension.

I am looking over the settings for it now.

We do have ‘auto create users with registrations’ set to yes on each individual event but I see in the main settings it is no.

To answer your question though, I want Attendee 1 to be it’s own user and not the current logged in user.

The general setting should apply as the default for all events, while the individual setting in each event should override the default.

Thanks for all of this information. I think it is fine the way it is for now. At least I know about this additional plugin and it’s function for the future.
