My registrants contact states and provinces are all messed up. I have several from Alabama, Canada (turns out they’re BC), and Nashua, Nebraska instead of New Hampshire. I could go on and on with these kinds of mismatches.
I check the Countries tab in settings and everything looks fine.
And yes, they choose their state when the register, but somehow in their final contact record, it’s translating it incorrectly. So, I have Alabama, Canada and all other kinds incorrect state in their contact records. I can’t seem to replicate the problem.
Can you try moving the Country field so it’s before the State field? There’s actually a feature that will remove options like “Alabama” if they have already selected “Canada” in the Country field. This should help.
You can move the fields by going to Event Espresso > Registration Forms > Questions Groups > Address Group. You can drag and drop questions to reorder them. Your changes will be updated when you save.
