On our site, https://ceyou.org/ , when a user is logged in and they go to the “My Profile” page https://ceyou.org/your-profile/ they are asked to log in, even if they’re already logged in. How do I remove that login section for logged in users? Thanks, |
Hi, You’d possibly edit that page? Since I don’t know how the log in form was added, I can’t give you specific steps. Event Espresso the software does not add the log in page, so maybe a developer added that form? |

OK, I removed the login which was being generated by a plugin. How do we get full account information, a profile, on that page? All it has there now is the classes they’re registered for. Is there a short code? Thanks, |

Hi there, Event Espresso doesn’t manage ‘members’ so the ESPRESSO_MY_EVENTS used to display the ‘events’ the user has registered onto is all we have. Are you currently using any form of membership plugin on the site? |
So there’s no way for users to change their name, email, password, address? |
Sure there is, but there is no need for Event Espresso to manage those details and create a profile page as it’s not a membership plugin. You can use one of the many member/membership plugins to create a ‘profile’ page allowing them to edit that information. Which plugin you use depend on the feature you need, for example Profile Builder allows you to create an editable profile page on the frontend or if you want more control over members, a membership plugin such as Ultimate Member. |

Did EE ever have this functionality? We recall having a more robust profile on our site before and now its gone. Is it possible one of the EE plugin updates removed that feature? |
Not with EE4 no. May I ask what you mean by before? Have you changed the plugins in use on the site at all?
Not unless I misunderstand what you had previously, EE has no section to manage your WP profile data on the front end, there are links to edit the registration data for specific registrations and if the ‘sync’ feature is enabled in the WP user integration add-on it automatically updates the WP User profile to match the changes, but that’s more for keeps all your registrations in sync and doesn’t sound like its what you had before. Did you have a developer setup the site previously? |
