Hello !

I have a multi-site wordpress install. Eventespresso is just one of the sites on that wordpress. When I go to EE, I am getting this warning on top –

You have the correct Support License Key for Event Espresso but your account only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

And I want to upgrade my EE because it is 4.7xx. Not sure where the problem is ?

Thanks,
Amit

Hi Amit,

If the site that has EE4 activated isn’t the main site, then what you’d do is activate EE4 on the main site. You don’t need to network activate, but the main site needs to have EE4 activated.

Once the main site is activated, you can go to its Event Espresso > General Settings page and set your support license key there. Your support license key is on your account page. Once that support key is saved you can head over to Network > Plugins and update there.

Hi Josh,

That is how I have it currently. I have a “base-website”, where EE is activated with license key, and another website dedicated to EE, also where it is activated with license key.

Now I go to Network Plugins page, and that is where it shows me the warning messages.

I try to upgrade, and it fails, saying upgrade package not available .. ?

I wish there were somewhere to attach a screenshot …

Thanks,
Amit

We don’t need a screenshot in this case.

The license key needs to be placed on the main site only. Once that’s been corrected, you can go to your account page and request a key reset.

Yeap, you were right. I had to REMOVE the key from the EE website, and just keep it on the main website.

And now everything is working.
