Multiple transactions w/ same email address—but only 1 email confirmation sent

We often have people registering for more than one event at a time, using the same email address. It seems when they do this in quick succession, WordPress only sends out a confirmation for one of the registrations, and the registrant never receives a confirmation for the other(s).

Likewise, if an administrator processes two or more payments for registrations with the same email address in quick succession, the registrant receives confirmation for only one of them.

Is there any way to fix this? Thanks for your help!

Hi there. A couple things:

– What do you see in the Messages Activity view? Event Espresso > Messages > Activity tab? You should see a record of every message generated and sent through Event Espresso. When it leaves Event Espresso it’s out of your website’s control what happens from there. If you are not seeing the messages you expected to see in the Messages Activity, make sure the correct message templates and contexts are activated.
– Which message templates and message contexts are disabled?
– Event Espresso is designed to send a message for each registration and each transaction (those are different things), even the Multiple Event Registration add-on.
