Hi! I need some help I’ve setup multiple tickets but after they choose the products/tickets the user would need to enter their information several times. Is there a way for all the items it grabs the persons information instead of clicking copy each time. Because I’ll be having 10 items, and I wouldn’t want the customer to click several times. Just to try keep things user friendly. Is there a feature that I need to deselect ? I’ve attached an image for better understanding: http://postimg.org/image/jat7tvvyv/ And is there a way to change the styles so that it looks just like the event espresso demo image: https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/ticket_Selector.gif I’m not sure if my theme has taken over the style with its css style sheet ? Here’s a link to my testing purchase page: http://goo.gl/igvZXE Thanks in advance! Shaun |
Hi Shaun, Your screenshot shows that you are using version 3 but this screenshot is from EE4: https://eventespresso.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/ticket_Selector.gif If you turn off group registrations through the event editor, then attendee 1 should be used for the registration. — |

Thanks Lorenzo, that has resolved the single user registration. Will the 21 add-ons eventually be added to EE4 ? |
Hi, We are currently working on some of the addons. MailChimp is being tested internally and the promotions system is under development. — |

Thanks Lorenzo! Looking forward to moving to EE4 once addons have been implemented into the latest version of EE. |

Hi Lorenzo, very sorry to be a pain. I’ve turned off group registrations but then it won’t allow me to purchase multiple tickets ? I would like to purchase multiple tickets, but only enter attendee information once. Looks like when I turn off group registrations, I only need to enter the attendee information once, which is fantastic BUT I can only choose one ticket. While if I turn group registrations on, I can purchase multiple tickets but would need to enter attendee information several times or clicking on copy information. Is there a way to purchase multiple tickets with only entering attendee information once to keep the website user friendly. My plan is to have 15 different types of tickets but don’t want the customer to keep clicking on copy attendee information several times. Hope there is a way through this! |
Hi Xonnie316, Let’s focus on this one question because in Event Espresso 3 there can be more than one answer:
Yes, as long as the ticket purchaser is selecting one type of ticket when they check out. If that’s the case, what you’ll do is set Allow group registrations to Yes and Additional attendee registration info to “No info required”. If you need to allow selection of multiple quantities of multiple ticket types, then Event Espresso 4 is the recommended solution. Event Espresso 3 has a limitation where it requires a name and email address for each selected ticket type in the cart. |

I’m after multiple types of tickets but only requesting the user to enter their personal info once. Here’s a link to the page to have a better idea what I’m after: http://goo.gl/5WCb5l I’m basically setting up a soccer camp and would like the user to choose different types of items: ~ Soccer Shorts They choose quantity of 1 or 1+ They enter their details, but if they select multiple items they would only need to enter their personal information once, instead of clicking copy each time. I would like to move to EE4 but most add-ons haven’t been implimented into EE4 yet. |
Hi Xonnie316, Multi Event Registration wasn’t intended to be used for add-on items. If you can do without Multi Event Registration, you could try the Price modifier add-on which will let you sell add-on items from the standard registration form. |
