Trying to allow users to purchase multiple tickets for a specific event and allow them to use discount codes, but the discount codes are not working.

The code I used on the event page is:
[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK anchor=”Register for this Event” direct_to_cart=1 moving_to_cart=”Redirecting to cart…”]
The setting for the event is:
– Allow Promo Codes?
– Global and Specific Codes
Promo code setting:
– Amount 100.00
– Percentage – No
– Global? – Yes
When I try to purchase and enter the promo code: EHCBRIDE2017 it doesn’t discount
Are these two settings (multiple ticket purchasing/promo codes) not compatible? If so, can you point me in the right direction?

Hi there,
Normally those two settings are compatible, and I’m not sure why the code isn’t being accepted there. That said, if it were accepted there, EE3 would actually discount $100 per ticket. So the way forward would be to migrate to Event Espresso 4 and use the promotions add-on. The Promotions add-on will only discount $100 on the order for that event, instead of $100 per ticket.
