I need to set up a tiered pricing structure so that people purchasing multiple tickets to any one of our tours can get the pricing breaks in a way similar to this:
$115 per person
$110 three or more
$95 for groups of fifteen (15) or more
We’re currently using:
EE 3.1.65.5.P
EE – Calendar 2.2.3.p
EE – Price Modifier 0.0.5.b
EE – Recurring Events 1.1.8.p
How can we make this happen?

Currently, the Volume Discount add-on works with the Multiple Event Registration add-on to support a two tiered pricing scheme. To do a third tier, you could use promo codes, but you would need to manually review registrations to make sure that people using the promo code had registered 15 or more people, or you could look into having some custom code written.

are there any conflict issues for THOSE particular plugin/extensions? I think I remember seeing that there would be some issue somewhere with “multi-event” registration and one or more of the following plugins:
EE 3.1.65.5.P
EE – Calendar 2.2.3.p
EE – Price Modifier 0.0.5.b
EE – Recurring Events 1.1.8.p

Is this still the case?

Yes, the price modifier add-on does not work with the multi-event-registration add-on. It was originally developed for a customer that was not using the MER, and to add support for MER to it would require a significant investment in development and testing. Most of our new feature development is sponsored by customers who require a particular feature. If it is something you MUST have, we can certainly coordinate a sponsorship of that development.

We have to figure something out – and fast. This would seem to be to be a pretty basic feature for an event, but what do I know? At this point we’re not too concerned with the MER plugin, but need the tiered pricing piece to work on a category by category basis, and we need more than just one tier. We would need the ability to have multiple tiers of registrations, not unlimited, but certainly more than just one. I think this would be a feature that some of your larger event customers could make use of. And of course, I’ve got to turn the event registration on now because it’s booking are already starting. This is very frustrating. We have to figure out something – and very quickly.
