I know that I probably don’t have something configured correctly on this but I can’t figure it out. If a registered user comes back on to our site to buy a ticket for another event, they have to resubmit their registration info before they can complete the purchase. They go thru that process and then are told they are already registered. What do I have setup wrong? Thanks.
It’s not clear from what you’ve described, can you explain a bit more and include the exact messages they’re seeing when they try to register again?
What you described possibly sounds like is they’re not logged in when they return to register for another event. Can you find out if they’re logging in before they return? They need to log in to your website before they complete another ticket reservation so the registration form can include their information.
Looks like the login button isn’t on the web page. Not sure what happened there. Is there something within Expresso that I could have turned off? Thanks for the help and sorry for the rookie mistakes.
Event Espresso doesn’t add a login button to the page. If you set “Force Login for Registrations” to Yes, Event Espresso will add a log in form. Is it your goal to require them to log in before they register for tickets?
If it’s not your goal to require a log in for registrations, and instead make it convenient for users to log in from any page, you can add a login form to your WordPress pages by installing a plugin like this one:
