We have a use case where the team captain may need to register all of the members of their team in one registration for a given event. We’d like the ability to do several things:
- Will the team captain have the ability to start a registration for their team members and come back to the registration at a later time, incrementally filling out one registration for the team at once?
- Each team member has the option of purchasing a T-shirt at an additional cost. As far as I can tell, that should be implemented as a separate ticket. The problem with this seems to be that it thinks that each ticket is a separate registrant. So if I had 2 team members I wanted to register and wanted to add a T-shirt ticket for each of them, EE seems to think I have 4 registrants! Is there a better way to do this?

Currently not, once a group registration has been made there is no way to add tickets to that specific group although they can continue to register onto the event so can create additional registrants that way, if you collect a team name on the registration form you can collate the data using that in something like excel.

In EE, you can either provide details for just the Primary registrant or All registrants (each ticket is a registrant), so using an additional ticket and requesting info for all registrants won’t work in this case.
One option is to use a 3rd part add-on called the ‘Price modifier’ add-on, listed here:

Which basically gives questions on the registration form a value so when selected they add that value to the registration, meaning you could have a T-shirt question that adds X amount if they select the T-shirt.
