I too am finding the MER (Multiple Event Registration) to not be a suitable solution for what I thought I was buying when I read “multiple pricing options” / “multiple ticket prices supported”.
Yes, there seems to be some works arounds from some things – but one thing I haven’t seen in any other comments or solutions is how it handles Limited Seating.
I have an even with 10 different prices. But there are only 400 tickets TOTAL that are available. Can each different event “share” a ticket limit with another event? and if so, how?
I read you are re-doing this must-have feature from scratch.
Any ideas on when it will be ready?
We have an annual event, we tried Event Espresso last year and this lack of multiple pricing options killed us.
We’re hoping to stay with EE, but can’t if this feature can’t truly be implemented.

Hi,
If you have separate events, they cannot share the same attendee limit (the same thing as number of tickets).
If you produce a single event with the ten pricing options and set that event to have an attendee limit of 400 that should work just fine eg http://d.pr/i/7qjy
3.2 is being worked on, we are hoping to have a Beta release in the next month or so.
