Hi there,
I just installed the Multiple Event Registration add-on and it works great. I’m using Event Espresso as a booking engine for special events, tours and restaurant reservations. For each of these categories, I have customized questions. The problem I’m getting now is that if someone is booking the different categorized products, it’s only providing the questions for the first event they added to the cart. For instance, special events are date specific, but for tours and restaurants (which we can offer every day), we have a question for the date clients want to book these services. If I book a special event and then add a restaurant reservation or tour to the cart, it doesn’t provide the customer with a date question. Please let me know if there is a solution for this.

Guys, it’s been close to 24 hours, since I posted this. Any assistance???? Has anyone seen this post?

Hello again, you can enable those question groups for additional attendees/registrants without the personal question group. That will make those available for entry and the personal question group will be re-used from the questions from the first event.

Thanks for the reply. This doesn’t work as it makes things complicated if someone purchases a lot of items. I tried it with this tour on our test site: http://test1.optimizewp.com/bookings/rio-favela-tour/

Hi, there aren’t currently any plans to change how its handled. I thought it was broken but then remembered that those should question groups for additional registrants should be checked.

What ideas did you have for collecting the questions from different question groups across multiple events?

Hi Lorenzo,
I wasn’t allowing additional registrants to add their info for any of my services. We just need the main registrant’s info. Basically, the special events and nightlife have specific dates, but for tours and restaurant reservations it was difficult to add the specific dates because we can provide those every day. If we put a ticket for every day of the year the page would be super long and it wouldn’t look good, so I just added the date question to tours and restaurant reservations. It would be awesome if people could choose a date from a calendar when selecting their ticket, but to my knowledge event espresso doesn’t have that option. I wanted to implement the multiple event registration to my site, but if people choose various services with different question groups then it does not allow them to answer all of the questions. Not sure if there is a solution for this.

Do you think this plugin would solve the issue regarding daily events? https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-recurring/ If so, when do you think it will be out for EE4???
