Hi,
My website is a directory of multiple clubs and classes. I would like to offer each club provider a booking system and allow them to manage it. I would also like the users to search the directory and book a club or class – which could be multiple events within one club, or multiple attendees in one club/class. Can Event Espresso extend to allowing multiple front-end accounts to be setup from different class providers having a separate booking system?

Hi Julie,

EE3 has several addons (Roles and Permissions Basic and Roles and Permissions Pro) that could be used to allow certain users to add and manage events.

However, these work from the back end, though their access to areas of EE can be limited.

RP Basic: https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-basic/
RP Pro: https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-permissions-pro/

While you did not explicitly ask this, please note that payments (especially using our Multiple Event Registration addon) cannot be split between users (the club providers in this case), so you would need a separate way to handle that.

Hi Dean,
Thank you for your reply.
Would this mean giving club providers access to their database via WordPress directly?

Regarding payment, I don’t expect to allow a user to book and pay for different events from different providers, this will have to be single transactions direct to each event provider. I want to integrate Stripe Connect which allows users to book and pay directly to any event provider without me having to handle the payment.

I do wish to use the Multiple Event Registration for each club provider.

Many thanks

Hi Julie, this sounds similar to an event marketplace where different event organizers create events and then payments are split between those event organizers.

Unfortunately, Event Espresso does not work well for this. We have a payment gateway for Stripe built into Event Espresso 3. However, it does not have any existing functionality for Stripe connect.

Hi Julie.

We are developers that happen to love Event Espresso. We just finished a front end course registration system that you have to see.

Basically just as long as someone has been approved to run courses by you, they have the ability to log into their front end partners account. They can see a listing of all live courses that they have and they can see all expired courses. With a click of “Copy” they are brought to a page where they can edit certain things like venue, date, time, details, etc and click to go live without admin review being required.

I think you will love it.

You can email me at joe@webierconsulting.com if you are interested (or reply here).

Hope we can connect.
