Hi there, I have the most recent version 3.2.16 of the Events Calendar add-on downloaded, and have looked through the support tickets for answers. Many tickets from 2021 have had the same issues as I do: events that span multiple dates do not show on the date they begin; there is a kind-of gray reserved line and an expanded column where they’re supposed to begin. Instead, they begin on the first day of the next week. I added the jquery migrate helper and set it to legacy. My calendar disappeared altogether.
I mention tickets from 2021 as I haven’t been able to find any resolved tickets with this issue later than that. And I have spent lots of hours searching.
I also tried setting the date times across multiple weeks. My client was not impressed with all the datetimes taking up an entire page, and it was extremely confusing at first glance. And even upon a longer second look.
Has any advance been made on “..bug in a library we use for the calendar, it isn’t compatible with later versions of jQuery.” since 2021? I dread looking at the calendar in a mobile version. The calendar is not on the home page. It is on a page named exhibits. I am using the Divi theme, Version 4.22.1, and WordPress Version: 6.3.1
PHP Version: 8.1.17
MySQL Version: 8.0.32
Event Espresso Version: 5.0.10.p
My clients were anxious to have a system that automated things, and had a great calendar feature. I asked a lot of questions about the calendar before I purchased the license, and thought it would work fine. Is there any other possible fix? Thank you, Joyce
We have to update the temporary solution here. This will need to rewrite the calendar plugin. Btw, this issue is forwarded with our developer and it is scheduled for discussion.
thanks
