I haven’t yet purchased EE, but I’m just curious if it has the capability that we want/need. We’re currently in the development stages for a website that we’re creating for our Conference. We need our members to be able to come to our website, register, and then log-in. Once logged in, they can register for our Conference. During the registration process, we would like them to be able to choose from 5-10 different mini-classes that will take place during the Conference. Then, once they’ve selected their classes, we would like them to be able to pay for their ticket. After paying, they would need to have an e-mail confirmation of their purchase and the classes that they selected, and preferably have a ticket that they can print and bring with them the day of the conference. Are all of these features available using EE? Thank you!

Hi Bryce, Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso. We currently have 2 versions of the core plugin available. It would be a good idea to check out this article to get an overview of the current differences between the two. https://eventespresso.com/2014/02/event-espresso-4-beta-officially-released/ The main difference is that right now EE4 has no addons available for it.
Event Espresso doesn’t deal with site registration as such, so you would need to use either the default WordPress registration or a third-party membership plugin.
We have an addon called WP User Integration (members) that can block events from being registered for unless the person is logged in.
Depending on your set up, this could be done with custom questions or if you need actual registrations for each of those mini events, it could be done via the Multiple Event Registration plugin.
We have a variety of different payment gateways – https://eventespresso.com/features/payment-options. Please note that EE# and EE4 have different amounts of gateways available.
Email confirmations are standard. They will receive an email per event registered for. If you used questions as mentioned above, these can be incorporated into the emails.
The Ticketing add on is currently only available for EE3. Please let me know if you need clarification or have further questions. You can also find some ways to test drive Event Espresso here -https://eventespresso.com/product/full-event-espresso-test-drive/ |
