My site offers an “institutional” registration/ticket that will cover all members belonging to that institution. Is there a way EE4 can handle such a registration, that charges one price, but permits the registration of multiple members? Thanks. |
Hi Valerie, How are you today? I’ve got a couple questions: – Who will be responsible for paying for that one ticket? Thanks. |

Hi Garth: – the primary registrant will be responsible for paying for that one ticket Thanks |

Hi, any updates on this? The only solution I’ve come up with is to create tickets for 2 attendees, 3 attendees, etc, and divide the price by number of attendees, to add up to the single price. This is a bit of a hack, since the price will differ by pennies depending on number of attendees. |
Hi Valerie, if you registered for a single ticket, then only one registrant would be saved. Would either of these options work? a) Set the first ticket as required with a minimum and maximum at one. This will allow only one of these tickets per registration checkout. Then create another ticket option that is free or b) Create a custom question that is a textarea question type where the names and other contact information could be collected. Then add this to one of the question groups that is enabled for your event. — |

Hi Lorenzo, I now think your option B is the best although not perfect solution, because questions can’t be customized per ticket (that’s an enhancement I think has been put forth). Ideally I would only want the text area type question to be associated ONLY with the institutional type ticket. Another enhancement (I know the list must be long!) is to enable a ticket where multiple people can be registered for 1 price, similar to the institutional type ticket my client “sells”. Thanks. |
Hi Valerie, thanks for the feedback. We do have questions groups on a per ticket level as a feature request as well. — |
