This plugin has a lot of potential for meeting my organization’s needs but I am needing to know if it will be possible for our developer customize for the following scenario (see image). If a registrant selects “Family” under the pass/registration type, a “Number of Attendees” drop-down appears. Once the registrant selects the number of attendees, Attendee Information fields appear according to the number selected. So again, my question is… would be possible for our developer to customize your code to accommodate these features? Thanks. |
Hi David, It’s hard to say as this would depend on the developer/budget. The image posted is not how our standard registration works. We have a ticket type with which you can select multiple attendees, so price would be ticket type x attendees. You require an overall registration type with multiple attendees per registration. So they pay one price but can have multiple attendees. That’s possible if you do not require to keep track of attendee numbers. So it is possible, but would require a lot of customization, possibly rewriting part of the plugin to achieve what you have posted which would then need to be maintained. |

Hi Josh, Thanks for your helpful reply. One follow up question I have is if there is a feature that would allow us to set a standard price for a given pass type and manually(as opposed to the automation I mentioned above) add attendees without increasing the price. Or would this need to be custom coded. Thanks! |

Hi David, Adding an attendee via the admin area will not increase the price, they are simply added and marked as complete (registered and paid). |

Thanks, Dean. I should have been more clear. The feature I am describing needs to be available for the user/registrant. For example, let’s say I create a family pass type for $100. I want the registrant to be able to add attendees/all family members without changing the overall price of $100. Currently the system will add $100 for every member that I add. Will the feature I am describing require a lot of customization? |
Hi David, Whilst it is technically possible, it will again require a lot customization unfortunately. I would recommend contacting one of our recommended developers who are familiar with Event Espresso customization’s, available on our Pro’s page. |
