Is there an easy way to have multiple Add To Cart buttons, one for each ticket type? I am trying to get EE to work as the backend for our current site, which has Buy Now buttons next to each date occurrence of an event.
I think I can modify code to make this work, but I was wondering if there’s an existing solution/modification that does this already.
More specifically, I would like multiple Add to Cart buttons that, on click, add 1 ticket to the cart and then submit. I am basically trying to avoid showing the ticket quantity drop downs, if possible. I’ve got multiple buttons but they all require that the user change the quantity before they do anything.
Go to event editor and set the maximum number of tickets per order option in the event registration options widget on the right side of the page to 1 and then save changes to the event.
But that will still create a single Add To Cart button at the bottom of the ticket selector, correct?
I think I can create custom add to cart buttons that first set the value of the ticket quantity to 1. Seems like it works, though now I seem to have a different issue. If there is something in the cart, buttons that add more items to the cart don’t automatically open the cart modal. Is there any easy way to make the cart open whenever anything is added to it?
Applying the options that I mentioned will remove the dropdown option so they don’t have to select a quantity to get started.
The modal that shows options to go to the cart or continue to event list will appear on the initial click to add an event to the cart. If an event has already been added, then the button text changes to view and clicking that will take you to the cart page.
