Hey all, tried to research but did not find out… We (re)sell 3rd party trainings and workshops, so far quite manually (list them, get interest, cash in , keep a fee, send rest to vendor). Since we grow, we want to provide a more automated platform, kind of a training/workshop marketplace with existing and new vendors.
Can we combine Event Espresso with a multivendor plugin like Dokan and have trainers/vendors build their own portfolio of training offerings?
From what I read, payment would have to go to one place (us) first, but that would be fine, or is it that a multi-vendor environment would not work wit EE at all?
Thanks a million in advance,
T.
Currently there isn’t an integration between Event Espresso and Dokan. What some folks have done is they’ve set up their site for multi-vendor access using the Event Espresso capabilities system. This way a vendor can log in and add an event and manage the registration lists for their events only.
Another option would be to install Event Espresso on a WordPress Multisite network, then each vendor can have their own site.
Hey Josh, thanks for your swift & kind reply!
Suunds like the capabilities system could already do the trick to us already… will try!
Thanks a million, T.
